Advanced Services.
Sunderby sjukhus, the hospital in which people living in and close to the town where I grew up go to, has a website where information about all newborns are uploaded. The name of the parents, photo of the newborn, sex, weight, name (if the parents have already decided), and etc.
I’m getting old. I do visit this website now and then. Daily, lately.
But at least I’m not reading the announcements in the deaths column yet! Not often at least. It’s so old people to do that!
But I’m not getting younger. I’m not in denial. People at my age, people I actually might know, are reproducing them selves. And there is a part of me who likes to know who has decided to work 80% in IKEA, or in some other shop, and start a family.
Anyway. Back to what I was going to tell.
Now it looks like the hospital has started with a new service. They don’t only give all the information about newborns, but also children that are going to be born!
Suddenly I find it even more interesting to visit the website. Perhaps I can get information concerning my own future?
Probably all hospitals in Sweden have a similar website. I wonder if they as well have this new service? I should check out the websites for hospitals close to Gothenburg.
Mamma = Mother, Pappa = Father, Ort = Town, Födelsedatum = Date of birth
